The quintessential Indian woman (oh man, dont I luv these 2 words ;-))....kaun hain woh aur kaha hain woh, problem yeh hain ki hum usse galat jagah par dhoondte hain. Actually woh yahi hain humare hi aas paas..lekin hum usse nahi dekh paatein (she cud be a sagi who jus got a placement in L&T, or a gemini who has got to Bartlett or a virgo who works as an HR exec for a popular airlines or a Taurus who luvs her hubby above all else or a gemini who materialised a neat dissertation topic in half the time it took her peers or a virgo who finishes as a beauty contest winner or a smarty-pants IT engineer Leo who drives her PM mad).



Woh obviously hi computer aur mobile jaanti hain par roz mannat mangti hain. Kaam mein zimmedar hain par sabse pehle parivaar hain. Woh sajti bhi hain, sawarti bhi hain..aankhen tez tarar hain par uski muskaan uski sabse badi shringaar hain. Honestly I tell u soorat bhi hain, khoobsurat bhi hain. Woh Gorakhpur ki Gita to hain par pal bhar mein Bombay ki bombshell bhi ban sakti hain.

Actually (this is ma fav line)koi bandhish koi bandhan rok nahi sakta hain uske udaan ko.That Mr. Mehta is the Lux woman that u r lookin for , jisse hum Rishtein mein baandhna chahte hain moothi mein nahi :)

Well those lines by Kunal Kapoor from Laaga Chunri Mein Daag, pretty much sums up the modern Indian women..the go getter n the home maker all rolled into one. She is a creature of complex habits and arcane delights..and has her priorities set jus rite!! Hmmm, a post fit for March 8 :) (IWD)...a small tribute to all the ladies who have influenced my attitude towards life.(mom, gfs, sisters). God bless.
